Overview
Footprint Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled School Psychologist to join our student support team. The ideal candidate will provide psychological services that promote academic success, emotional well-being, and positive social development for students in grades [Insert Grade Range, e.g., K–12].
This role is essential in fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment through collaboration with educators, families, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to support student learning
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address academic and behavioral concerns
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and student support services
Promote mental health awareness and social-emotional learning initiatives
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
Qualifications
Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field
Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
Experience in educational settings preferred
Strong knowledge of special education laws and assessment tools
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with MTSS, RTI, and PBIS frameworks
Familiarity with culturally responsive practices
Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize effectively
Proficiency in digital assessment platforms and documentation systems
