Footprint Staffing is seeking a passionate and licensed Special Education Teacher to join our team and provide high-quality, individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will implement evidence-based strategies, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and foster inclusive environments that support academic, social, and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals and best practices

• Deliver differentiated instruction in small group and inclusive classroom settings

• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and support staff to ensure student success

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with IDEA, state regulations, and school policies

• Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and team consultations

• Support students in developing life skills, self-advocacy, and independence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education from an accredited program

• Valid state teaching certification with Special Education endorsement

• CPR certification

• Experience working with students with disabilities in school settings

Preferred Skills

• Strong instructional planning and classroom management

• Familiarity with assistive technology, behavior intervention plans, and inclusive practices

• Experience with IEP software and documentation protocols

• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work independently

• Team-oriented with a growth mindset and commitment to equity
