Overview
Footprint Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team and provide direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental challenges. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Behavior Technician will implement individualized treatment plans to help clients build essential life skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in clinic, home, school, or community settings
Follow behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs as directed by the supervising BCBA
Collect and record data accurately during each session
Assist with functional communication, social skills, play skills, and daily living tasks
Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for clients
Communicate effectively with families and team members
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing supervision
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred
Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain
Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
Ability to pass background checks and meet state/federal compliance requirements
