Overview
Footprint Staffing is seeking a compassionate and licensed Audiologist to join our team and provide expert hearing and balance care to individuals across the lifespan. The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive evaluations, deliver evidence-based interventions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support clients in achieving optimal auditory health and communication outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic evaluations of hearing, balance, and auditory processing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including hearing aid fittings and aural rehabilitation
Provide counseling and education to clients and families on hearing health and communication strategies
Collaborate with physicians, educators, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards
Participate in IEP meetings and school-based consultations (if applicable)
Stay current with advancements in audiology technology and best practices
Qualifications
Doctoral or Master’s degree in Audiology from an accredited program
Valid state license to practice as an Audiologist
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA (preferred)
CPR certification
Experience working with pediatric, school-aged, or adult populations depending on setting
Preferred Skills
Proficiency in audiometric testing, hearing aid programming, and vestibular assessments
Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation protocols
Strong interpersonal and counseling skills
Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work independently
Team-oriented with a commitment to client-centered care
